Dispatch Details

Back in 1999 we started publication of a printed monthly newsletter we called “The Dispatch.” The aim of the newsletter was to provide insight into the most updated research, theories, and news relating to the fields that our organization investigated. Our focus was also not only to present local information, but to include worldwide news, and so we welcomed contributions from other investigators as well as networked with other news resources to expand our coverage.

It didn’t take long for issues of The Dispatch to reach 20-pages a month, and we were excited when our subscription base reached all across the world, but soon we faced an odd problem… there was simply too much to report on. With all the contributions we were getting, and the growing attention on strange occurrences around the world, we wound up having to cut stories out of issues and truly wanted a better way to present this information to our readers. With the increased Internet speeds and availability of online space, we decided in 2010 to take The Dispatch to the next level and go fully-electronic.

After a year of upgrades, trial and error, and figuring out what format worked best, we premiered the first Dispatch Online website. It was a huge success, and the site quickly expanded. We asked for feedback from our viewers and sought to make the website more stream-lined and up-to-the-minute with articles and reporting. In November of 2011 we took the entire site down and planned a major overhaul, the results of which you’re seeing here today. Now, in January of 2012, we’re proud to premier the latest – and by far the greatest – version of The Dispatch ever! We hope you enjoy what you find here, and if you have any questions, we invite you to contact us anytime!
