This weekend we’re celebrating spring with the return of our popular “Animal Talk” workshop in conjunction with Locket’s Meadow Farm in Bethany, CT. To start these workshops off in style we’re excited to be joined by Kathleen Schurman the owner of Locket’s Meadow and an animal communicator herself. Kathleen’s approach to teaching people how to talk with animals is different than most, in that it is more about learning respect for the animals and listening to what they have to say, rather than just trying to walk up to an animal and expect that it is going to have a long and drawn out story to tell.
Kathleen will be our guest at the SGRA Research Center (284 Racebrook Road, Orange, CT) on Friday, April 6 at 7:00pm where she’ll talk a little about her own experiences, discuss animal communication, and answer questions. Then, on Saturday, April 7, at 2:00pm (also at the SGRA Research Center) we will begin our first “Animal Talk” workshop event of 2012. The talks begin with a presentation on animal communication, techniques, useful tips, and an introduction to the process we’ve developed along with Kathleen. The, the entire group will take a trip up to Locket’s Meadow Farm for a “hands on” part of the workshop where, after an introduction by Kathleen and a grounding meditation on the farm, we will introduce the group to different animals and allow you to see what you pick up on. Because each of the animals on the farm have a unique story to them, it is easy and fun to tell what people are picking up on.
Friday’s visit at SGRA is free to members, $5.00 to all others, and everyone is invited. Saturday’s workshop, including materials and the outing to the farm, is $15.00 for anyone and $10.00 for members.
