Tonight begins our two-event lineup with the Case Memorial Library located at 176 Tyler City Road in Orange. First, this evening at 7:00pm in the library program room we’ll be giving a multimedia presentation about paranormal research and specific spooky stories we’ve learned of, and have been investigating, from within Orange itself! We’ll talk about the methods, theories, and reasons why we chase after paranormal activity in hopes of being able to present some better understanding about what it all really is.
Then, on Thursday evening at 5:30pm, 7:00pm, and 8:00pm, we’ll be hosting lantern-led walking tours in the historical center area of Orange, departing from the library and making our way to the Orange Center Cemetery, where we’ll discuss some of the wonderful history, funerary art, and interesting stories associated with this – and other – cemeteries that are of its age. While we’re there we’ll be giving a demonstration of how we look for possible activity when our team visits locations.
Check out this video on the Orange Patch website highlighting the events!
The programs are free, and are open to the public. The program this evening (Monday) at the library has space available, however the library is taking reservations for the walking tours at 5:30pm and 7:00pm, so you’ll have to contact them to find out if there are spots available. The 8:00pm tour is being led by our group, so you can contact us at sgra@sgra.org if you’d like to register for that.
