Unfortunately over the last few months we have had several issues with individuals contacting SGRA to register for events and reserve places at them – making space unavailable for others and resulting in our purchasing and preparing materials for them – and then these individuals fail to show up at the scheduled event. Obviously this type of disregard for reservations causes issues when we must purchase and set aside materials for people who do not show, but it also shows a lack of regard for others who are truly interested in attending, since we set a strict limit on spaces at workshops to keep them small and interactive. As a result, we have had to institute this new registration policy.
All registrations must be completed 48 hours before the time of workshops or events which require them…
Those who are not SGRA Members must pay a non-refundable deposit of $5.00 or the full registration in order to reserve a spot and materials. SGRA Members in good standing can register for events without paying the deposit…
Deposits and registration can be processed through the SGRA website (see options below), by emailing your registration request to sgra@sgra.org, over the phone at (203) 987-SGRA, or in person at the SGRA Research Center or any of our events. SGRA accepts all credit cards, cash, and check.
Workshops which are taught by instructors other than SGRA Staff Members may choose to cancel or reschedule events in a minimum of 3 people are not pre-registered for the program 48 hours in advance. If an individual registers for a workshop, and it is canceled due to weather, instructor request, or other issue a full refund will be provided.
