After 65 years what do we really know about the mysterious and controversial Roswell Incident that occurred in early July of 1947? Exactly what happened that evening has been the subject of some of the most heated debates in UFO research, but over the years there have been some interesting and solid details uncovered. For example, we know that something did crash into a farmer’s field outside Roswell. The wreckage of that object was secured and taken away by the military. Military officials did say that it was a “flying saucer,” only to almost immediately retract that statement. And no one knows what happened to the wreckage that was discovered, as it was quickly packed up and shipped to Wright-Patterson Air Base in Ohio. So what was actually retrieved from the Roswell crash? Was it an alien craft? A top secret U.S. military project? A Nazi or Russian craft that somehow invaded our airspace? This week you can join us for two great events as we explore these theories.
Wednesday our weekly Coffee Talk discussion will be on the Roswell Topic. Coffee Talks are open to anyone, and are taking place at the McDonalds located at 57 BostonPost Road in Orange, CT. Then the following evening on Thursday at 6:00pm we’ll be presenting a multimedia program at the Torrington Library at 12 Daycoeton Place in Torrington.
