This months Coffee Talk theme is “Mysterious Places” as we explore sites around the world where strange and unusual things have happened. First, on January 4, we’re traveling to Miami, Florida, where an unusual structure called the Coral Castle can be found. This structure was entirely constructed (and then moved) by one single man in a feat which remains a mystery to this very day. Many claim that the site holds mystical powers, and have witnessed strange things there. From Miami we’re off on a worldwide search for the origins of the famed Crystal Skulls on January 11, which have been discovered in all corners of the world, and many remain a mystery. On January 18 we’ll examine the phenomena of Crop Circles discovered from England to America. And, finally, on January 25 we’ll be looking at a more local site, the home of Yale’s infamous Skull & Bones Secret Society.
Come join us as we delve into these mysteries during this month’s Coffee Talk discussions. Coffee Talks take place every Wednesday from 7pm-9pm at our Research Center, 284 Racebrook Road, in Orange, CT. Coffee Talk is free and open to anyone interested! You don’t have to be a member to attend! For more information feel free to contact us at sgra@sgra.org or (203)247-0310.
