Those who have been followers of SGRA for a while have probably had the opportunity to see versions of our Dispatch Newsletter in the past, as we have often posted preview copies and offered free issues online as well as at our events. Since creating the newsletter back in 1999 it has been a popular feature of our organization, and it has undergone many upgrades in design, content, and size. Since 2009, however, the newsletter moved into an electronic format that was only distributed to SGRA Members. After much consideration, we are excited to announce that starting in September a new version of the SGRA Dispatch will be created which will be available by subscription to anyone interested.
The newsletter will continue to be 10 – 20 pages each month, and will feature content covering both SGRA news, as well as interesting news from around the world related to the subjects we investigate and study. It will also be available in both a printed and electronic version, and will be distributed worldwide. Subscribers to the newsletter will also receive special access to online features, additional content, and offers from SGRA. There will be different subscription options for online or printed editions, and current SGRA Members will continue to receive a special discounted price).
In addition to the new version of the newsletter premiering, we are also happy to be working in conjunction with a number of other resources who will be contributing to each issue. As a result, readers will not only get the viewpoint and news of SGRA, but will also have the unique opportunity to see how other individuals and organizations are focusing their efforts. We are also adding several topic-specific sections into each newsletter, which will include an astrology column, history’s mysteries column, investigation tips and tricks, and so much more! Much of the newsletter features will also carry through to online features, such as engaging discussions, live chats, and SGRA PodCasts. And, finally, another new feature will include contests and giveaways for those taking part in the newsletter. If you submit your own personal story, an article, letter to the editor, etc. you might walk away with a free gift!
More details on the newsletter and how to subscribe will be posted by the end of the week, so be sure to stay tuned! If you have any questions in advance you can feel free to contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or (203) 987 – SGRA.
