BREAKING NEWS…
Over the last 48 hours we have received numerous eyewitness accounts of UFO sightings which took place on the evenings of Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, in towns located in Fairfield, New Haven, and Middlesex counties. Nearly all of these sightings have been consistent with one another even though they took place at different times and locations.
Most sightings have involved between two and five objects of various brightness and sizes. In some instances the objects appeared to be connected as one, while in others they appeared to be separate. The colors were most often red or orange, although other colors have been reported. Witnesses reported the altitude of the objects to be lower than the cloud coverage is most cases with the exception of three sightings. Often times sightings like this can turn out to be paper lanterns upon further investigation, however it is unusual for such reports to occur over such distances and times without this cause being identified.
Presently we are in the preliminary stages of collecting further information on these sightings and plotting them out onto a visual map so we can begin to narrow down a area of focus. We are asking anyone who may have witnessed, or known someone who witnessed, these objects to please contact us at sgra@sgra.org.
